Various handling of one image shows how the use of the same image can give a contradictory versions and events. Juxtapose or falsify the same image, we can answer our need to see better or at least to see with advantage.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born 1974 in Morocco.
He has been working with video, installations since 1996. In 2001 selected for a work period at Rijksakamie van beeldende kunsten, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Laureate of the international fund for the promotion of culture UNESCO PROGRAM FOR ARTISTS (2001). Nominated for the international media art prize 2002. Programmer,curator and scout of north Africa festival. Co-founder of "Taleb Cherche Midi" an Amsterdam-Cologne based video-makers.
He reveals himself through his works with an critical eye towards everthing around him. He represents what happened around him in an aesthetic and abstract way and in combination with an literary form. He uses those forms as an ideology in order to say "the things must change" because he believes in "Talking about or showing the reality is much more real then reality itself."
Lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
